The Trabki Wielkie Commune is a rural commune located on the Gdansk Uplands in the central part of the Pomorskie voivodship. It is one of 8 rural communes of the Gdanski Poviat, whose authorities are seated in Pruszcz Gdanski. The commune is made of 25 villages. The authorities of the commune are seated in the village of Trabki Wielkie.  

The Trabki Wielkie Commune covers the area of over 162 km2 (16 262 ha), of which 10 000 hectares (61%) are used for agricultural purposes, and 5 000 ha (31%) of the whole area of the commune are used as forested areas. The landscape of the commune is rather flat, but there are visually attractive river valleys and hills with the height of nearly 180 m above the sea level.

Residents of commune use mostly cars, public transport and bicycles. Trabki Wielkie joins ELMOS in order to learn more about the opportunities that arise from cycling and specifically electric vehicles. The municipality intends to offer pedelecs to pupils / student for their daily ways e.g. to school or the train station in Pruszcz Gdanski , from which they will be able to reach destinations in Tricity (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia).
